Melissa Albert is the founder of Primp My Ride and an independent saddle fitter with over 40 years of equestrian experience across multiple riding disciplines and equine related businesses.
Her journey into saddle fitting began when her own challenging horse opened her eyes to the critical importance of proper fit, sparking a passion for understanding both the science and art behind it. What distinguishes Melissa’s approach is her whole-horse philosophy—she considers not just the physical aspects of saddle fit, but also the mental and emotional well-being of each horse, drawing on her 30 years of professional experience in sales and marketing to effectively engage with owners, trainers, and everyone involved in a horse’s care. She is deeply committed to educating horse owners and creating those “lightbulb moments” when they gain new insights into their horse’s comfort and behavior.
